“Vertiginous, violet-they scroll across the sky, words with wings VVV, whether wrens or angels one cannot determine, perhaps an alternate universe fusion of both, up down, high, low-dizzy, still; at peace, at war: redemption dreams arise from the clay: soul’s peace, as the bird in the bough its little eye closes slowly: all is chance, they say, indeed-save this, indisputably, O’ Neill’s Art’s gentle triumph.” –  Pat McCabe

Peggy Gordon

Lisa, along with Colm Mac Con Iomaire, has a new tune out on Ergodos Records. It’s the first single from an upcoming compilation called In The Echo: Field Recordings from Earls Fort Terrace that is due out 30 September. You can listen to “Peggy Gordon” and preorder the album at Bandcamp. Read about the album here at Hot Press.

Goodnight World

Last weekend Lisa performed an unreleased song ‘Goodnight World’ that she wrote for the play ‘The Boy Who Talked To Dogs’ which just finished a run at the Adelaide Festival in Australia. Unfortunately due to all the restrictions she couldn’t travel there to be a part of the team presenting the theatre piece, but she was delighted to play it in on the Tommy Tiernan show.

Fleadh 2020

Lisa & Mic recently performed at Fleadh 2020 which was broadcast on TG4.
